Bible Studies for Women is an app for reading the Bible, following guided studies, journalling and praying. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version is that your writing stays on your device.

What we collect

We do not have accounts and we do not run a server that stores your information. We do not collect your name, your email address, your contacts, your location or your health data.

What you create, and where it lives

Your journal entries, verse highlights, notes, bookmarks, saved actions, prayer requests and study progress are stored on your device only. They are not transmitted to us. If you delete the app, that writing is deleted with it. Your device backup may include it if you have backups switched on, and that backup is controlled by Apple or Google, not by us.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We never see your card details. To know whether a subscription is active, we use RevenueCat, which receives a purchase receipt and a device identifier from the store and tells the app whether your subscription is valid. RevenueCat’s own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. You can read more about what Apple collects in Apple’s privacy policy, and Google’s in Google’s.

Notifications

If you set a reminder, the app schedules a notification on your device. These are local notifications. No notification service of ours is involved.

The Bible text

The Berean Standard Bible is included in the app and is in the public domain.

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no advertising and no third party analytics. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your information.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, because we do not collect personal information from anyone.

Your choices

You can delete your writing at any time by deleting the app. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and you can restore a previous purchase from the Account screen in the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes, and a material change will be described in the app’s release notes.
